The staff were really nice, and reception quickly fixed the room mix-up when we arrived. I'd booked a one-bedroom apartment with cooking facilities for five nights, but at first we were given just a room with a bathroom. In the property there was only one large saucepan, so I had to ask for a smaller one. During our stay the room was cleaned once and the bins were emptied once. For the price, I wouldn't recommend this hotel or apartment. I'd stay somewhere else.

The apartments were just okay, and I had an issue with my booking. The reason I'm giving four stars is Nika (hope I spelled it correctly!) at reception, who went out of her way to make my stay as comfortable as I'd planned. Five-star customer service. Thank you!

The staff were fantastic, available around the clock, and very helpful. The bed was comfortable, the room clean, and the bathroom good. Great value for a good hotel. No complaints.

We stayed at Enter Viking Hotel from 17th to 24th October 2025, and found the experience deeply disappointing. The room was small, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly, and there was constant noise from upstairs. The kitchen utensils were scratched and worn, which didn't match the price. After checkout, 3000 NOK was taken from my card without warning, an explanation, or a receipt. I emailed the hotel several times to ask about it and received no reply. They later said it was for “damages,” but the photos they sent showed nothing broken. The items they pointed to were intact and in the same condition as when we checked in. There has still been no refund or proper explanation. I found the whole thing unethical and lacking transparency. I'd advise future guests to avoid giving the hotel their card details directly and to photograph and inspect everything in the room at both check-in and checkout. I wouldn't recommend Enter Viking Hotel to anyone who values honesty and good service.
