The setting is lovely, though getting there means walking uphill for a bit. For Norway, the hotel is interesting and quite affordable. One thing the booking sites don't mention is that WiFi only works in the lobby, not in the rooms.

Good value for a hostel, and you can pay for "unlimited" breakfast for your whole stay. The dorms are downstairs in the basement, where the air can feel a bit stale.

Breakfast is included, and the rooms are simple with a cheap nightly rate. It's also just a short walk into the city. There's free WiFi, and you can buy drinks at reception.
