The dinners in the main house were a highlight, with excellent local food every day and a high standard throughout. The service team was great too, always ready to help with questions or requests. I spent a week here with Wikinger Reisen in a beautiful cabin, with two single rooms and a spacious kitchen and living room. We shared the table for evening game sessions with up to six people. Such a lovely, cozy place.

The apartment was a nice, roomy place with the basic facilities, including a dishwasher, and it made a good base for exploring the area. Flåm is about an hour away by car, which was convenient. It is set away from the usual fjord area and doesn't have a stream view, though. I took one star off because part of the sofa was uncomfortable to sit on.

The breakfast buffet had so many choices, and we also tried the three-course dinner, which was great. The area around the hotel is beautiful as well. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the stay was. The place has been newly renovated, so the older reviews from years ago don't reflect it now. My room was spotless and really nice, which mattered a lot to me as a clean freak. Highly recommend it.

The homemade food, made with local products, was delicious, and the employees were polite and efficient. There are hikes right from the doorstep. I couldn't have asked for more during my two-day stay in this beautiful place.
