Voss Fjell Hotel Og Restaurant

The people there were really kind to us, though the hotel could use a renovation. We stayed for one night with our cat. Our room was clean, big enough, and had a TV, and the bathroom was clean too. We had both breakfast and dinner, and enjoyed them.

The food could have been less salty and more lightly seasoned, and the room could have been warmer. There were only two guest tables occupied. I was there for dinner with my family, and the staff were friendly and helpful, though there wasn’t much choice on the menu. I didn’t know the people at the next table. The only communication from them was a man gesturing that he was freezing.

Every window had lovely views, the beds were very comfortable, breakfast was excellent, and the staff were incredibly attentive. When our group couldn’t get the rental car started in the morning, they helped get it going and found us a new key fob battery. We’re forever grateful, they helped us get back on schedule. Great place!

The food was amazing. There was a delay with my meal, but they let me know and brought a portion twice the size. I don’t even see that sort of thing in big-city restaurants. The service was very good and the staff were friendly. The rooms were okay, especially for a night or two. While hiking from one village to another, we found this seemed like a calm, cozy place to stay. Big thumbs up, and thank you!
