Parking was right outside the door, and the main road was very close, which was handy. You do hear some noise from the truck stop and gas station, though. I stayed one night and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the slightly worn room was, especially with its own balcony for watching the sunset. Breakfast was ok. My photos show nearby spots, not the hotel itself.

The cook and waitress were both friendly, and service was quick. We had gluten-free pizza and a kebab plate. The food was good, though the kebab could have been a bit more generous, especially for a man. Thanks from Laura and Dimitri of France, just married.

There really isn't another choice in the area, but this place is clean, small and simple, and good value if you need to stay nearby. The people were very helpful, and breakfast was enough to get me going for the day. A little fresh fruit would have been nice.

The rooms in the main building are fine, though nothing special, and better than the exterior buildings. They were cleaned well, about 4/5 for cleanliness. Breakfast was ordinary, not particularly good. The octagon is ridiculous for the price, and bedding costs another 400 kr. It was a lot nicer in previous years, but the older staff seem tired now and the service is bad. They don't seem to have customer service in mind. 3/6.

There was a nice play area for kids, and the place has gluten-free pizza for my son. It was very crowded, so we had to wait for a table. The toilets were messy.
