The village and town hikes were a lovely part of our stay, and we ate well throughout, from the full dinner and breakfast to the snacks. The location and service were great too. My one suggestion is to get the hot water running quickly and reliably. I’d recommend visiting, and hope the resort gets advertised on its website more often.

We slept comfortably in clean, cozy rooms that were well kept and close to nature. The meals were delicious, with both local and continental choices, and the staff were always warm and ready to help. Balthali Mountain Resort is a lovely break from the city, with peaceful surroundings and beautiful views across hills, traditional villages, and terraced fields. The whole team made our stay relaxing and memorable. I’d happily recommend it for a quiet retreat. 🙏

Rajan, the manager, treated us like family, and the staff were welcoming throughout. We also found the food delicious and the price very reasonable. The drive up is a little tricky, but the hilltop setting and breathtaking views made the stay at Balthali Mountain Resort amazing. A peaceful getaway I’d recommend.

The service was great, and we really liked the calm, refreshing surroundings and delicious food. Balthali Mountain Resort is a peaceful place for a getaway, while still being near the valley and easy to reach, about 14 km from Banepa. I’d recommend it.

The off-road stretch takes a bit of driving, but getting there was worth it. We stayed two nights at this scenic place on a hilltop, surrounded by lush green forest. Our room was cozy with wooden touches, and public transport is available at certain hours. The price range is affordable, and the friendly staff let us enjoy our solitude without disturbances. We had a wonderful stay.
