The care they show guests is why I'd come back. During our six days in Bhaktapur, the lady owner took our preferences seriously. My friend is fully vegetarian, and at first they made the mistake of serving her egg, then simply removing it without offering a vegetarian replacement. The next day, after we asked about Indian food for her, the owner personally made sure we both got an Indian breakfast on two days. Even with English breakfast, they added a little South Asian food, which was a sweet touch. The food was generally good, and the beds were the most comfortable of the three hotels we stayed in on our Nepal trip. Room service was quick. When our shower tap stopped working at night, they immediately let us use another bathroom and fixed it the next day. The rooms are lovely, with a balcony and a spectacular view of Bhaktapur. The central location was another plus.

It was easy to explore historic Bhaktapur from Hotel Layaku Durbar, and the place itself felt peaceful and welcoming. I found the traditional character lovely, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well kept. The staff were kind and professional, always ready to help with a smile. Service was excellent, and the whole stay felt safe and comfortable. I really enjoyed it and would gladly recommend the hotel.

Durbar Square is just a short walk away, which made exploring really convenient. The room was beautifully decorated, and the welcoming staff were warm and kind, making me feel at home. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend this place to anyone visiting.

We had a really relaxing holiday as a couple and enjoyed our stay. The rooftop was especially lovely in the evening, with a beautiful view. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the service stayed friendly and helpful throughout. The location was convenient too.
