Siddhartha Resort, Chisapani

The ride from Bardia National Park for lunch was well worth it. We rented a bike and came by around 1 to 2 pm on the 14th feb. On arrival, the staff welcomed us warmly and put us at the garden terrace where we'd hoped to sit, with a beautiful view of the Karnali Bridge. The setting looked stunning and made it easy to relax. Our order was taken quickly, and the food came sooner than expected. Everything tasted excellent, though a couple of dishes were a bit spicy for me since I'm not great with spice. The flavors were outstanding, and we ate much more than we'd planned. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout. A nearby group was pretty loud and interrupted the peaceful feel a little, but it didn't spoil the visit. The terrace view was phenomenal and made lunch feel special. The property seems like it would be even nicer for an overnight stay. Next time, maybe I'll stay at their hotel instead of just stopping for food. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

When you need to give your brain a break, Siddharth Resort is a lovely place to unwind for a while. It's peaceful, with fresh air and a beautiful view of the Karnali Bridge. The quiet atmosphere and scenery do most of the talking.

The food here is really good, but the rooms are tiny, the toilets are small, and plenty of other things are much worse. At ten thousand rupees a night, it's far too expensive for what you get. Overall, 3/5.

The restaurant was a highlight, with plenty of local and international choices. The dishes were delicious, and both the food and service exceeded my expectations. The resort also handled the business side well: its conference facilities were modern and well maintained, and the technical team was responsive, so our sessions ran smoothly. I found the stay comfortable and practical for work. My room was spacious and clean, with a desk and high-speed Wi-Fi that helped me stay productive. After long meetings, the quiet setting and beautiful landscape made for a peaceful break. From arrival onward, the staff were welcoming, professional, and attentive, and everyone I interacted with went out of their way to make things comfortable and seamless. Siddhartha Resort combines professional service, comfort, and natural beauty well. I’d highly recommend it for business travel in the area, and I look forward to coming back for work or leisure.
