Dusit Princess Kathmandu

The dinner was a real treat, with a limited set menu but every dish was rich, tasty and satisfying. The breakfast buffet had a great spread too. We'd come here to unwind after a long week, and the offer made the value really satisfying. Our superior room was spotless and bright, with sunlight coming in. The comfortable mattress, pillows, bedsheets, soft bathrobes and towels were among the little touches that made the stay.

The rooftop pool has magnificent city views, and the rooftop bar and smaller rooftop room are great spots to take them in. There's also a ballroom, a spa, a good coffee shop, an ATM and several bars. The gym is functional and has a sauna. The property is beautiful, tastefully decorated, warm and modern. Rooms were clean and well equipped. I stayed for a week, and the food became repetitive and uninspiring. It wasn't that great, despite the effort, and was the biggest letdown. Some parts of the rooms aren't well insulated, so corridor noise carries in. Weekend parties and functions were disturbing and made it difficult. Most senior staff were helpful and awesome, though a few trainees were a little too inquisitive.

The rooftop view was a highlight, peaceful and scenic, with a great spot to relax or take photos over a meal. The staff were friendly, service was quick, and the atmosphere worked for a casual meal or a special occasion. I loved the food too, especially the continental dishes, all well prepared, nicely presented and full of flavour. A memorable visit for the good food and views.

I enjoyed the breakfast, the views from the top floor rooftop bar, and the tidy gym, where the staff were helpful. The sauna and steam rooms were nice extras. The rooms were fresh and clean, and the design felt cozy and elegant. Staff were hospitable and friendly, always greeting you, sometimes even with a salute. I'd stay here again.
