The kitchen could be much better organised. Even when the restaurant isn’t busy, breakfast takes ages, menu items are often missing or unavailable, and the staff seem to struggle to coordinate service. It gets frustrating. The rooms, though, were beautifully decorated and furnished, very clean and comfortable, with Sky TV that actually works. They felt homely and relaxing, some of the best rooms I’ve stayed in during seven months of travel. There are also lovely terrace and restaurant spaces with plants.

I loved the complimentary breakfast and the refreshing, tasty tea. The staff were polite and helpful, the food was decent, and the hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms get cleaned every day. A nice stay.

For a budget stay, it’s a nice place, and breakfast is fine. They make very good milk coffee. The main hassle for me was hot water: whenever I needed it in the bathroom, I had to ask reception to switch on the geyser and then wait. There isn’t hot water available around the clock, which was a big pain for me. Don’t expect much from the Wi-Fi either, the speed is extremely slow.

There’s an open garden seating area where you can eat surrounded by greenery. The rooms are clean, the beds are cozy, the bathrooms are nice, and the staff are pleasant. It’s a good place around Thamel, with a spot to park your vehicle at night.

A lovely little place to stay. The host went out of his way to make guests comfortable, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I loved my stay!
