We got out of the hotel safe, but the whole situation was very unprofessional. When we asked for a refund, they tried to keep 25% of our payment and only returned it after we filmed them on our phone. Then the security guard threatened us, used dirty words, and forced my friend to delete the video. We had booked 3 rooms for five people at 3 am. The receptionist and security guard demanded full payment before check-in, though we paid only 25% and they gave us the keys. One room turned out to be dirty and already used. The receptionist was rude and said there wasn’t another room available. When we said we’d leave, he accused my friends of “using” the bedsheets just seconds after check-in.

We checked out after one night, but they charged us for the full two-night booking. Worse, they canceled the reservation in Booking so we couldn’t leave a review there, which felt completely dishonest. The room had lots of wet stains on the walls and a quantity of bugs.

The staff were gentle and took great care of their guests, adding real value to what’s already a much better option. It’s a modern boutique hotel with impeccable, sunlit rooms overlooking the busy streets of Thamel, yet quiet enough to rest. The rooms are spacious and modern. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful two-night stay here, with outstanding service at a good price. It’s right in the center of thamel. The hotel feels unique and comfortable, and everything was neat and clean. Highly appreciated, thank you.

The staff were screaming at each other in the morning. When I asked them to quiet down, they started yelling at me even more. The room always smelled like cigarettes, so it wasn’t quiet at all. The staff were very rude.
