Hotel Brihaspati

It’s in a good, central part of the city, and the area is peaceful. The room was clean and spacious. The food was costly compared with what’s around, though. Very good for families and couples.

We booked directly with the hotel to avoid any arrival problems, staying four days because of its central location. Our triple room had the basic amenities: towels, bathroom slippers, soap and shampoo, AC and TV, a kettle, and a cupboard. The two sofas were dirty. Breakfast included choices to suit Indian food preferences, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I booked three rooms for my family and was charged too much for the level of hospitality we got. The washrooms were dirty, the rooms smelled, the food quality was really bad, and the staff behaved very badly. They’re showing fake pictures of the rooms and washrooms. The staff are frauds, and staying here was a total waste of money.

The service was really bad, and the staff weren’t trained. I left some belongings behind when I checked out, but they didn’t follow up about them. I had to call after four days to ask. They had kept my things safe, yes, but it was embarrassing. There was no sense of responsibility, just a focus on money instead of hospitality. It left a really bad impression.
