The location was perfect and the food was delicious. We stayed with family for three nights, and the staff were helpful and polite throughout. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and had all the amenities, including AC with a heater. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it for comfort.

After booking by phone, I found the hotel looked nice and the staff seemed friendly, but my Room 3 was well below what the price should have gotten me. It was an unpleasant stay: the room and bedding were dirty, there were no bathroom towels, and neither the TV nor the power sockets worked. I asked for a towel, but it only arrived the following morning.

Hotel Readers Inn made for a convenient, comfortable stay in Kathmandu. I especially liked the rooftop view and complimentary breakfast, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with top-notch service. Its location is perfect for exploring Kathmandu, and the amenities were decent. Service was good, though not great. The food prices were unexpectedly high, almost twice the market price.

My vacation was ruined by the lack of hot water, and I caught a cold after having to shower in cold water. Reporting the problem more than once did nothing, and hot water was often unavailable. It was an extremely terrible experience. I wouldn't give even one star if I could choose less. Avoid staying here if you have another option.
