That big “DND” sign and red exterior make D&D Cafe Thakali Kitchen easy to spot near Pashupatinath Temple. I went today, March 26, 2026, and ordered fish curry with a Thakali thali set and rice. The fish was packed with flavor and cooked just right, way beyond an ordinary meal. One of the best fish curries I’ve had, easily 10/10. The staff were polite and friendly, and didn’t rush us, which made the visit comfortable. If you’re nearby and want good food, don’t miss the fish curry.

The veg. thakali thali was really tasty, and the ambiance is nice too. It’s very close to pashupathinath temple, especially if you come through the gate by the bagmati river. A fun spot to visit for a meal.
