We weren’t given a room at the expected check-in time, and were treated badly. The manager and staff behaved very poorly and unprofessionally. The road to the hotel is narrow and congested, and we didn’t receive the room service we’d been told to expect.

The place was unhygienic, and the staff member, who I think was the owner, was very rude. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Sunil is a good guy, and the service was really good. The place is quiet and felt safe for walking even late. It’s great value for money, with a clean basic room, good fans, and a good hot shower and toilet. Even if the bathroom isn’t attached, it’s only a step from the room. Great place.

I wanted some privacy away from backpacker hostels and Thamel’s overpriced chaos. This quiet little place tucked away was perfect for cooling down and getting organized for a few days. Good value, and the owner was extremely friendly and eager to help. As far as I could tell, I was the only person there who wasn’t a desi man, but I still felt safe and comfortable.

Sunil is really kind and helpful, and will do anything to make the stay better. We stayed five days and had an amazing time. The hotel is in a calm area close to Thamel, the rooms are very clean and complete, and breakfast was really good. If we’re ever back in Kathmandu, we’ll definitely return.
