Aaryan was especially kind and went out of his way to help me, and the rest of the staff were just as welcoming. Their personal care gave the place a warm feel. I visited in late September, near the end of monsoon, when things were quiet and peaceful. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and looked just like the photos. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

The room on the fourth floor was quiet, and the location worked perfectly for us. We had fast Wi-Fi, reliably hot showers, and a good breakfast on a lovely balcony. The owner and employees were all very nice and helpful.

The free refillable water was a real favorite, with hot or cold water available. There’s a nice roof garden too, and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are good for the price. Come stay, it’s amazing.

The owner seemed a bit too focused on selling treks, even after I said I’d already booked one elsewhere. From what I heard, he just arranges them and earns commission from other companies, rather than running his own trekking business. Apart from that, Khangsar Hostel does its job well: it’s simple and clean, with hot showers and a basic breakfast. The staff are very friendly.

We stayed here on 24 Oct 2025. The staff were very friendly, and we were happy with how they treated us. The room was nice, but the bed felt small and uncomfortable for a healthy-sized person. There wasn’t a charging point beside the bed, and the sockets that were there didn’t work properly. The washroom was not bad. Overall, it’s good for a low-budget traveler.
