Thamel is a perfect location for this quiet, safe place, and the price is good. Breakfast was nice and the staff were super friendly. For just a few extra dollars, you can upgrade to a larger room such as #401. They can also help plan things like a trek to EBC. Highly recommended.

Everything is about a 5 min walk away from this amazing location. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and even packed us lunch for the bus ride to our trek. 100% recommend.

The terrace restaurant was peaceful, with great food and a wonderful view. As a female traveler arriving in a very rough state, I felt cared for and safe at Hotel Namsto. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, and the location made it easy to visit local sights on foot. I’d recommend staying here :)

I stayed at Namtso twice within two weeks. The price and location are superb, and it’s a place where you can really relax after the Kathmandu vibe. The staff give you a warm welcome and can help with any request. Breakfast on the rooftop was nice.
