The staff were very kind and helpful, and the elevator was a lifesaver with our baby and her stroller. The room was spacious, had a nice view, and the location was pleasant for an evening walk. But it wasn't clean, the fridge was broken, and it smelled damp. The food was bad and the restaurant wasn't clean, so I wouldn't recommend eating there. The room works for a short stay.

We stayed about six days, and the staff were super accommodating. The rooms we tried were all nice, clean, had good views, and hot water. After our first stay, we kept coming back here during our two months in Nepal. We loved this hotel.

The rooftop has an amazing view, so be sure to check it out. Breakfast isn't anything special, though the pancakes are quite good. Rooms are decent and have attached bathrooms, and it's a nice hotel if you need a place to stay in Thamel.

It's a nice, clean hotel in Thamel, with a good breakfast and reception open 24 hours. The rooms are good, though things can be faulty, like an AC that doesn't work.

The garden restaurant is lovely, and the Thamel location is handy without being too noisy. I've always enjoyed staying at Pilgrims guest house.
