The Hotel Pleasure Home Inn

The location worked well for us, with halal restaurants within walking distance, and the rooftop was a nice feature. The staff were also genuinely welcoming when we arrived late to check in. The room itself was tiny and dim, and the power outlets made charging our phones difficult. There was no lift, and our room was 203. We found a cockroach and curry marks on the blanket. The washroom was spacious, but the toiletries were below average and there was no geyser or hot water. The water was painfully cold, almost icy. It was a very uncomfortable stay and absolutely not worth the price. Just a 2 star hotel!

They were kind enough to let us check out 3 hours late because our flight was in the evening, which really helped us. The staff were consistently helpful and considerate. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the price suits travelers on a budget. I had a great stay and would recommend it to people visiting the area. Good value and lovely service.

Before booking, ask whether the bathrooms are private or shared, what bedding is provided, and whether things like room cleaning each day or room service are included. Those details can help prevent confusion. I called and spoke with someone there, and found what they told me misleading. From what I could see and understand, the place operates more like a hostel, but the person I spoke to kept insisting it was a hotel even after I said that. To me, a hotel generally has private rooms and bathrooms, daily housekeeping, room service, and other full-service features. Bunk rooms are more typical of hostels, which are aimed at budget travelers and often have dormitories, shared bathrooms, and communal areas. A hostel may also offer private single rooms, but that alone doesn't make it a hotel if shared bedrooms and spaces are part of the setup.

The rooms were comfortable and very clean, with hot showers, and the value was a full 10 out of 10. Ram and everyone on the team were wonderful and so friendly.
