The rooftop has a nice view, and my room was spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious every day, and I’d rate the restaurant 10/10. Hotel Tenki is in a good spot in Thamel, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and really helpful throughout my stay. Thanks to the Tenki family for making it such a memorable visit. I’d happily recommend it.

I only stayed one night at Hotel Tenki, but I’d gladly come back for my last night too. The staff made the visit feel personal, from reception to the restaurant, and were kind and ready to help. Dinner and breakfast were fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. The roof terrace was a lovely extra. My room had everything I needed, felt comfortable and clean, and the Wi-Fi worked very well. Hotel Tenki is in a lively part of Thamel, with shops, cafés, and attractions an easy walk away. I found it good value and would recommend it to anyone visiting Kathmandu.

We ended up at Hotel Tenki for a night because of an unexpected flight problem, and were really glad we chose it. Mr Ashok went out of his way to look after us, including arranging a special takeaway breakfast for 6am and driving us to the airport. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful too. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the price was very affordable. The hotel is right in the heart of Thamel, within walking distance of most restaurants. Highly recommend.

The rooftop balcony was a nice place to sit and watch the sun go down. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of fresh fruit, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My bed was clean and cozy, though on the firm side, and the mini split in the room was handy for adding some heat in the morning. It’s an easy ride from the airport and right among the shops for trekking, which makes this a great place to start a Nepal trip. Good value, and I’ll stay here again. Thanks, hotel Tenki!

The breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty of choices and a lovely start to each day. We also found the team very useful when planning activities, whether day trips, cultural experiences, or multi-day treks. They were ready to help us figure things out. My friends and I had a wonderful stay. The staff were welcoming from the moment we arrived, genuinely kind, attentive, and always happy to help. The atmosphere felt warm, like they truly cared about their guests. I’m grateful for the experience and would definitely return. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Nepal.
