I stayed here before and after trekking in November 2025. There was a large building construction site right by the hotel, the road was unavailable, there were no taxis, and the surroundings were dirty. The hotel itself wasn’t very clean either, and breakfast was very, very basic. For the same money, I found a much better hotel a little farther up from Thamel, so I moved there.

The location wasn’t good, but the rooms were good and the service was very good. The people were friendly, spoke to me nicely, and were really helpful and cooperative. Of all the hotels I stayed in across Nepal, I liked this one most because everyone was so nice to talk to. I booked a car through them, and they even came along to drop me at the taxi. I really appreciated that.

I got really good value for the price when booking through a third-party site. The rooms had been recently renovated and there was a lift. The service was friendly, including when they brought us items from the breakfast buffet. The driver even took us on an impromptu walking tour.
