I came here after a weekend night out at a club, looking for somewhere affordable to sleep. This inn was tucked down a side street, so I could rest without much noise.

The room was clean, had good facilities, and the staff were really friendly. It's in central Thamel, though slightly tucked away from the main street, so it was quiet. Prices are very cheap too. I'd recommend Mitra garden inn hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu 🙏🙏🙏

The owners are super nice and happy to help. If you're planning a trek, ask them for advice or about renting gear. They'll help for sure.

We stayed just one night, even though our reservation was for five. Hygiene was very poor, and the room wasn't ready when we arrived after check-in time, so we waited an hour. There was no hot water when we arrived or when we wanted to shower the next morning. In our two months in Nepal, this was our worst stay. Even teahouses on the Annapurna and Everest treks seemed like three-star hotels next to it. The Booking reviews and photos didn't match what we found.
