I’m writing to warn people about Access Hotel Nepal in Thamel, Kathmandu. We booked three rooms for three nights, and this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. Even in cold winter weather, none of the showers had hot water. We reported it several times, but the staff apologized without fixing it. By the third day, when we complained again because we still couldn’t shower, they told us to use the shower in another room. It was also difficult to communicate because the front-desk staff had limited English. Every room outlet was loose and unusable. When we raised that, they gave us one multi-plug adapter, so we had to share it among all our devices. The hotel was in such poor condition that I wondered if it could even be called a hotel.
