Palagya Hotel

The owner helped arrange my airport ride and exchanged money for me. He was completely honest and so kind and caring that it touched my heart to be treated so warmly. He also saved me a few hundred euros by arranging a flight ticket to kashi, which is being delivered to my hotel. The place is right across from Pashupatinath Mandir in Kathmandu. My room was clean, with hot water and AC, and the staff were super friendly, smiling and open-hearted. I highly recommend staying here.

The top-floor restaurant was a highlight, with excellent food, a great ambiance and a view that made the meal even better. The hotel also has a well-kept banquet hall for events, gatherings and functions. Parking is available, which is rare and useful in this area, and the prices are reasonable for what you get. The location is convenient for pilgrims and tourists, near Pashupatinath Temple and just 3 minutes from Kathmandu Airport, handy for early flights or short layovers. My room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, with hot water available at all times. Housekeeping kept everything tidy, and the whole staff were friendly, polite and willing to help. Check-in was smooth, thanks to a warm welcome and genuine smile from the receptionist. The hospitality throughout was top-notch. Palagya Hotel offers clean, comfortable rooms, good food, helpful service and a prime location. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it to visitors to Kathmandu.

This budget-friendly new hotel is near the airport, within walking distance of Pasupati nath temple, and close to transportation for all Nepal. The staff were friendly and supportive, and we enjoyed our stay. I recommend it.

I booked a room for four days recently, and the stay turned out much better than I expected. The rooms were clean and had a good view, and being near the airport made travel convenient.
