Rest Up Kathmandu Hostel

I booked 10 days here, though I expected to stay for much less. The rooftop felt like a welcome break from Kathmandu's narrow alleys, and the staff were friendly. I stayed in the 10 man room, which was pleasant and good value at £3 per night. The rooftop restaurant served tasty local and western food at fair prices. Highly recommend.

Pratik, Himansu, Ashis, and Kisore made the stay especially lovely with their kindness and help. The hostel was very clean, and its rooftop had a nice view and a welcoming atmosphere. A wonderful experience, highly recommended.

The rooftop dining area was the best part for me, with city views and staff serving delicious food throughout the day and night. I had eggs Benedict and a mocha for breakfast 😍 Ashish was a very kind host. Excellent hostel, and say what's up to him.

We had a mix-up over the airport taxi payment. Our friends left early and paid the driver in cash at the airport, but reception later asked us to pay. They trusted us when we explained and didn't make us pay twice, which was kind. Just check when and where payment is due. The rooms were clean and spacious, the rooftop restaurant was handy and a nice place to spend time, and the staff were friendly.
