The room was decent, but the bathroom was dirty, the phone didn’t work, there were no toiletries despite what the listing said, and we got just one towel for two people. Breakfast was limited to bread and egg. I had booked on Booking.com, but the front desk didn’t know about my reservation and had to call someone to confirm it. Once they gave me the key, they only said “Room 502,” with no details about the floor, breakfast, WiFi, or check-in and checkout times. At checkout, they asked me to wait while they checked the room. I travel often for work, and this was the first time I’d been asked to stay while someone verified the room before I could leave. It made me very uncomfortable and felt unnecessary. The stay was disappointing. They need to improve their communication, professionalism, cleanliness, and basic service.

The rooftop view is spectacular. My wife and I had spent a couple of hours looking around Boudha before settling on this place for the night. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with air conditioning and a hot shower.

I had an awesome stay at Rinchen hotel, even though it was only for a short time. The staff were very cooperative, and the location was perfect, just a short walk from boudha. I wouldn’t regret staying there.

They have parties on the roof, so there’s no peace and quiet.

The staff were really kind and helpful, and the rooms felt spacious and comfortable. It’s a nice place to stay close to the Boudhanath stupa, and breakfast was good too.
