It’s a handy spot for Durbar Sq nearby, which is the best place in Kathmandu in my opinion. The rooms are clean, with solar showers and a TV that gets enough western channels. Dinesh and his son Aditya run things well and are very friendly and helpful. They’re happy to help with anything, and room cleaning is available. To find the rooms, use the small courtyard entrance off Freak Street. There’s no reception there, so first go to Surya Moon Bistro, down the alley on the other side of the street, and they’ll escort you over. Highly recommended.
