I was there just after it opened. The hotel is in a great historic spot in the heart of Thamel, on a quiet pedestrian street. Rooms are new and modern, with hot water, nice decor, and everything working. The staff were really nice, and breakfast on the rooftop was great. I'll definitely stay there again!

The food was outstanding, and the hospitality at Mandala Heritage Inn was exceptional. Right in the heart of Thamel, it's on Mandala Street in the lively Thamel area. One of the finest hotels I've experienced, and I'd highly recommend it for a memorable stay.

It's a nice place for the price, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Be aware that loud music at night could disturb you. The complimentary airport transfer isn't free after all, it costs 28$ (~3600 rupees), while a taxi is only 6-8$ (700-900 rupees) and easy to arrange. I wouldn't order breakfast at the hotel. It's extremely basic, and there are plenty of nicer, more affordable places within a 3 min walk.

The rooms were extremely well kept and the service was excellent. Mandala Heritage Inn is hard to match, especially in central Thamel, with great restaurants and different Kathmandu attractions close by. I'd recommend it 100%.

The rooms are noisy, and breakfast is lousy. The decor has some old world charm, and there are warm drinks at the rooftop bar. It's in central Thamel, above noisy late night venues and restaurants, with no city views.
