The rooms are a reasonable size, but there’s little view from them. The front windows are all glass, facing the path guests use to reach their rooms, so keeping the curtains open for daylight doesn’t really feel possible. There’s no bedside power outlet, and the room phone didn’t work. Getting around inside is awkward too, with a difficult stair layout and corridors. The hotel is set back from the main road, and the narrow road outside makes finding it a bit tricky. Construction noise woke me up in the morning. Service was subpar, as staff were slow and often unavailable at their stations. 👎🏼

The people were great, the surroundings were pleasant, and the food was good. It was a good stay overall, though the older building needs some upkeep, including the AC and water.

You can get breakfast or dinner in the sunny garden, and the food is good. It’s a handy place in the heart of Lazimpat for small workshops and seminars too. The staff are friendly and cooperative. I’d definitely visit again.
