The location is decent, and a few shops for everyday Nepal shopping are within walking distance. Prices depend on your own judgment and bargaining skills. The restaurant, food, gym, steam room, and staff were all positives, and I had a good experience overall. If you’ve stayed at three- to five-star hotels, you may find the room sizes and one or two other minor shortfalls a little below that standard.

It’s on Red Cross Road, on one side of Kathmandu, and about 30-45 minutes from the airport. It’s not close to the well-known Durbar Marg. The stay was cozy overall, though room rates and restaurant bills felt a bit expensive. Breakfast had a very limited menu.

The room was decent and the service was okay, but the stay still left me unhappy. In Nepal, I assumed the accepted currency would be NPR (Nepalese rupees). At checkout, though, they issued my invoice in my home currency. Neither the booking information nor reception had explained what currency would be accepted.

It’s a clean, well-kept hotel right in the heart of the city. Comfortable without being luxurious, and I got a bargain through Ibibo. I’d definitely recommend it for a holiday stay.
