It’s a clean hotel with helpful staff, and most of them speak English. Firm beds and pillows. There’s a rooftop patio on the fifth floor, where you can see Swayambhunath lit up in the evenings. Food is available here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with room service too. Being in central Thamel means there’s some noise. A taxi from the airport is about 200 NRS.

Clean and budget friendly, right in the heart of Thamel and very close to Hotel Vaishali. The tricky part is finding it, since it’s tucked deep in a narrow by-lane.
