The rooftop garden restaurant was a highlight, with a relaxing feel, lovely views, delicious food, and plenty of breakfast choices. Our room was quiet despite the hotel being in busy Thamel, right in Kathmandu’s tourist district. It’s a short walk to shops, restaurants, trekking agencies, and cultural attractions. The rooms were clean and spacious, decorated with traditional Tibetan touches, and the beds were comfortable for a good sleep after exploring. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warm smiles and genuine kindness. Tibet Guest House combines traditional Nepali hospitality with modern comfort at a reasonable price. We’d recommend it for trekking, business, or leisure, and would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time and would happily recommend it. The hotel is clean, friendly, and well placed for Kathmandu’s sights and sounds, with attentive service and a real local feel. It’s not a five-star Western-style stay, but it’s comfortable and affordable if you want something genuinely local.

I’m already planning to come back after my second stay at Tibet Guesthouse. It’s budget friendly, with great coffee and food, plenty of hot water, and a really powerful shower. The staff are so friendly and the hospitality is hard to beat. Rooms can be serviced and cleaned daily if you like. Thanks to everyone for making my stay such a pleasant one. Well worth the money.
