ViaVia boutique hotel - Kathmandu

I stayed three nights at Via Via Boutiqe hotel Kathmandu during my visit to Nepal and really enjoyed it. It’s a distinctive but comfortable hotel for the kind of guests it serves. The room was very clean, and the location is handy for Boudha Stupa. Staff service was excellent, with that accommodating Nepali friendliness. I’d definitely recommend it in Kathmandu.

My room had a desk and chair, which made it a great place to get work done away from Kathmandu’s noisy bustle. I’ve stayed at Via Via twice now, a week each time, and both visits were really positive. It’s quiet, clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly. Nothing to complain about.

The Buddha Stupah is close enough to walk to, and the location is fantastic. We felt right at home here. Everyone working at the hotel was so, so nice, and the rooms were lovely and well equipped. Breakfast and dinner were delicious too. We loved our stay and would happily recommend it.

We were able to walk to Buddha Park in the evenings, then browse the lively market for souvenirs, local food and other places to eat. The neighborhood has lots of dining and entertainment nearby. For parking, tell the hotel ahead if you’re driving because spaces are limited. Street parking is another option, then you can walk in and get to know the area. I found a convenient spot right in front of the local pharmacy. The hotel felt like a second home, and we’d love to return. I’m also interested in trying the chain’s other properties around the world as I travel. The guest rooms are thoughtfully designed, and the fourth-floor rooms have a touch of luxury with lovely rooftop views. From arrival on, the front desk and staff were welcoming and attentive to what we needed. Breakfast was a particular treat, with friendly smiles and genuine warmth.
