They took such good care of me. I was booking just one night at a time, and the staff kept rearranging bookings so I could stay in the same room. The room and breakfast were well worth the price. I really appreciated their generosity and care, and I’ll come back here next time I’m in Kathmandu.

The cafe staff were always friendly and easy to talk to, and the service was fantastic. Rooms were pleasant too. You can walk to Thamel’s main shopping and food area from here, so the location was superb. I’ll definitely recommend this place to my friends.

The sheets were fresh, things were generally clean, and the beds and blankets were comfy enough even for the harsh winter. There was no rush about things, and they seemed to understand that. As a woman from India, it was very hard to get there, but once I did, I felt nicely rested and had a good time. The space is good, but for a longer stay it could work better for spiritual people and for people who want to connect with the real meaning of spirituality. The Buddha was about wisdom and was born from a woman’s womb, yoni spirituality. I wasn’t sure exactly what changes were needed, but the rooms felt messy with backpacks and things lying around. Bags can be big, so there should be enough space to keep them under the bed. It’s basic human sense. Less suffering is human medicine.

Giri Kewel and all the staff, thanks for a lovely stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and the rooms were comfortable. You can also arrange treks and other activities here. We had a really good experience.
