We loved the family-run feel here, and the home-cooked breakfast came with three choices. The balcony looked right out over Durbar Square, and the room and bathroom were spotless, with high ceilings and a roomy walk-in shower. Lalit Heritage Home is a lovely, welcoming base for exploring the square’s art and heritage. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

The host made our month in Nepal easy, especially with flexible breakfast, checkout, and luggage storage. The rooms were clean and pleasant, and the location and view were great too. Whenever we had a question, they found a solution. A really good place to stay in Patan.

We spent 10 weeks here during an internship at a local hospital with friends, and had a great time. Patan Durbar Square, with its cultural importance and frequent festivities, was right by us, with a magnificent view. The hosts welcomed us into their culture and lives, took us around town, shared tips, and cooked and ate local food with us. I’d gladly come back.

Madan and his family were so kind and keen to make their guests feel at home. My room was clean, comfortable, and nice, and breakfast was delicious and generous. The rooftop looks over Patan Durbar square, with the Himalaya on the horizon. They made my last day in Nepal really lovely, thank you.

A family-run guest house with a view across historic Patan Durbar Square. The service was so good, and the tasty breakfasts each morning were a lovely extra. We couldn’t have asked for more, and had a fantastic stay. Thank you!
