Begnas Lake is close enough to walk to, and the hills right in front of you make the setting feel special. Looking north, you can see the mountains, especially Mt.Machhapuchre with its distinctive tail. It’s a lovely place for a meal or an overnight stay, and you could happily spend several days here without noticing the time go by. I’d love to return.

On the way to Begnas lake, this is a great restaurant to stop at. The food is tasty and affordable, so come on in.

The food quality was really poor. Hair hadn’t even been removed from the meat in the non-veg khana I was served. The chairs were broken, and so was the bed in room number 204.

The people here are great, and the place is really nice. Begnas lake isn’t far away. They also run a travel agency and can help arrange local buses and activities. :)
