I stopped for lunch here in spring 2022 while hiking for the day from Benkar to Thame. In a beautiful setting, the hotel was clean and tidy, with nice paintings on the walls. The staff greeted me politely and brought me a pot of hot tea and some cookies.

The people here were overbearing and arrogant, acting as if they had claimed the mountain for themselves. They stopped me from camping, even on public land.
