The room was roomy, the service was excellent, and it stayed quiet at night. Having both stairs and an elevator was handy. The only issue was a rust-like smell from the water.

I was there with a tour group, so I can't really judge whether it was good value. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

It's a basic but okay hotel, and feels fairly soulless. The water came out brown, and it took ages for the hot water to arrive. Things weren't very clean, and a lot of the fixtures and fittings were loose. I stayed as part of a G-Adventures tour before heading to the Himalayas. It's about a 15-minute walk to town.

A basic but decent hotel, with nicely sized rooms in a really convenient location. When we were there, the hot water barely warmed up.

The rooms were pretty poor for a hotel, and the place was tucked down a back alley, away from the main attractions. The staff were helpful, though, and breakfast was basic.
