Lumbini Buddha Garden Resort

We ended up changing our plans after we saw the grounds. We had been staying in Butwal, but after a long day of work without stopping to eat, the greenery caught our eye as we passed by. We went in hungry, and it was the best spur-of-the-moment decision. The property is spacious, full of trees and lush green space, with birdsong and a peaceful, refreshing feel away from the busy surroundings. Food came so quickly we nearly had to remind ourselves to order slowly, and the staff were attentive and efficient. We went back, checked out, and returned to stay here instead. Our schedule allowed only one night, but it was worth it. After months of traveling, I finally slept deeply and woke feeling calm. In the morning, all I could hear was birds, no traffic or chaos, just nature. That alone made the night unforgettable. I wish there were more places like this and can't wait to return. Great service, lovely surroundings, and a truly memorable stay. Highly recommend it for peace, nature, comfort, and hospitality in the Lumbini area. 🌿🌱

We arrived early in the morning with four people, including a small baby, and waited outside for about an hour and a half while mosquitoes swarmed around us. No one came to reception, and the guards couldn't reach anyone. There was no indoor waiting area, no water, and the manager was missing. We left around 6:10 and went to Hokka, five minutes away, where we were shown to a room right away. It was pretty clear the Garden Resort people didn't want our business and didn't care.

We had such a memorable stay and can't wait to come back. The rooms were stunning and cozy, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their hospitality was warm from the start.

We stayed two nights while traveling from Varanasi to Lumbini, and the location right on the highway was convenient. The hotel grounds have lots of greenery, well-kept gardens, fruit trees, a lotus pond, and natural forest. Our room was quite large and very clean. The staff were helpful, especially Ms Sapna, who made check-in quick and helped with what we needed. The kitchen staff were good too, preparing food as requested and serving it happily. A great choice for staying in Lumbini.
