Please consider other places in the area. My stay raised serious hygiene and safety concerns, and the room looked nothing like the promotional photos. There were large open holes in the walls and ceilings, and electrical trunking was held together loosely with tape, which seemed like a clear hazard. The toilet was stained and hadn't been cleaned properly. Pigeons were living on the AC units right outside the window, leaving a thick layer of droppings that seemed like a health concern. Even basic fixtures, such as the toilet paper holder, were broken. Don't be misled by the facade.

The location was great. We booked the first night through Booking.com and got a nice room with two bathrooms, AC, and a refrigerator. When we extended for a second night at reception, they gave us a room half the size for the same price. It had no windows, the AC didn't work properly, and we found small cockroaches. I'd rate the experience 2.5/5.

I travel and explore a lot, and this is the first time I've ever written a review. The customer service here really amazed me. In Thamel, the rooms were neat and great, and it was so nice to have a quiet place. Prices were great, there were no extra charges or BS, and they even gave us small presents at checkout. Room service was great too, with everything we asked for arriving instantly. I highly recommend this place.

A quiet street makes this a good base for exploring Thamel and Kathmandu. The rooms are comfortable, and though the bathroom is on the small side, it wasn't a major issue, especially for the price. The staff are lovely too.

The location is ideal, about 100m from the hustle and bustle, so it's quiet, and taxis are easy to find parked outside. There's also a very good spa 50 m away. There's no in-house breakfast, but the service is very good. Mr Vikram, the owner, gives personal service. After discussing it and paying cash in advance, I got a very good price. The rooms are small but fine for a couple of days. Linen is a bit dated, though clean.
