The rooms are amazing, the atmosphere is great, and the staff are some of the best people you could meet. It had everything I could ask for. I’d recommend it to any traveller, 1000%.

During the EBC trek, Mountain Lodges of Nepal, previously known as Yeti Mountain Lodge, felt like an absolute treasure. Having this kind of luxury all along the EBC route would be such a delight. The dining room was especially nice, with a blanket on every chair so you could get cozy. The rooms were comfortable and the service excellent. The setting is pretty too, though plenty of places along the trek are.

We stopped at Phakding after the first day of our trek, and the location and scenery were amazing. The facilities were exceptional, and the service stood out. Ngima Gelu Sherpa, the supervisor, and the staff made a group of 12 feel very welcome and gave us a really personal experience.

The staff provided top-notch service, and the reception, bar, and dining area are so impressive they’re hard to put into words. It’s also in a great location. I’m looking forward to coming back.

At Phakding, the hospitality, rooms, cleanliness, and food were all just average. The staff seemed overwhelmed. We stayed at three different mountain lodges managed by Yati, and the other Mountain Lodge by Yeti locations were amazing and gave us a very pleasant experience.
