Bhanjyang Village Lodge

The garden had a stunning mountain view, and our room was clean with delicious food. At Bhanjyang, the service was excellent, and everyone on staff was professional, friendly, and knew what they were doing. They even sorted out paragliding for us in five minutes, with the manager personally helping at the last minute. I really enjoyed the stay, a 10 out of 10. Thanks to the staff for making it so memorable.

Sunrise and the early morning view were the real highlights, with all of Pokhara City spread out below. When the sky is clear, the Annapurna Range looks incredibly close and is visible in all its glory. We chose one of the two "View Rooms" in this hotel of five rooms, each with its own name. The room itself was quite nice, though the scenery outside was even better. Breakfast is included for guests, and the English-style meal tasted great, although it was a little pricey for the modest portions. I’d dreamed of staying here for a long time and booked nearly three months ahead. Looking at our photos and videos says a lot about how much we enjoyed it. I’d urge families or couples to give it a try, even for one day. It was an excellent experience overall.

Even in the rainy season, when we couldn’t see the snow mountains, waking up to the morning mist and fresh air made this a lovely place to stay. I especially want to thank Anamika at reception. She was professional and kind, always smiling. I was feeling low at checkout because of some emotional problems with my friends. She noticed, listened patiently while I cried, and gave me support. She also told me about Nepali festivals and her experiences, which helped me feel better then. Thank you so much, Anamika. I highly recommend this lodge.

The drive from Pokhara was beautiful and scenic, and arriving at a place this peaceful made the whole experience even better. I loved the slow mornings, especially waking to clouds coming right through the window. The Ganesha murti added to the calm, soulful feel. The food and drinks were good, and the cocktails made evenings more fun. I’d suggest staying at least two days to really enjoy the atmosphere.
