Hotel Bien Venue

The service was very good, and the hotel is in a convenient spot, just a three minute walk from Lakeside. The rooms were clean, with hot and cold water, and they also provided shampoo, soap, and tissue paper.

The free breakfast was a nice extra, and we were never charged for additional coffee, tea, water, or other items. Those things don't cost much, but it was a thoughtful gesture that showed service came first. The staff were very helpful and happily accommodated changes to our booking, which was the best part. The AC could have worked better, but things aren't always perfect. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Pokhara.

I really regret staying here. The property felt gloomy, dull, poorly maintained, and nearly ruined our stay. We looked at several rooms, and the bathrooms were leaking badly. The toilet seat leaked too. The owner seemed unconcerned, and the room itself was just blah. We didn't dare try their so-called restaurant since Pokhra has hundreds of eateries. After our trek, we came back for our luggage, including a bag with a laptop, which any decent hotel should keep for guests. A woman, likely the owner, initially stayed silent when I asked for it. She then said she couldn't find the bag. When I insisted on seeing the man who had stored our luggage, somehow he produced it. The woman kept saying, "I kept your bag and now you're staying somewhere else." That was shocking. I nearly told her to look at her pathetic rooms and bathrooms crying out for maintenance. I took my bag and left. Avoid this place at all costs. Keeping luggage isn't a favor, decent hotels do that. If you think guests owe you a stay because you held their bags, get real. 0/10.

It's a good hotel to stay in, but we booked an AC room and were given a non AC one, so that's why I'm rating it 4/5. I'd suggest the management maintain the bathrooms and clean the rooms more thoroughly.
