I liked the location and the view, and the staff were kind and helpful, making me feel valued. My bed and pillows were very comfortable and clean, and the in-room snacks were reasonably priced. The tea kettle worked well, and there’s a great coffee shop downstairs. Hot water came quickly, which felt more eco friendly than at places where you have to wait 10 minutes for a warm shower. The price was good, and the free breakfast felt in line with the room cost. There’s a fully staffed kitchen, too, so you can order other items.

After a cheap but awful guesthouse in Pokhara with poor facilities and service, my husband and I checked out a few hotels along the lakeside and picked Hotel Pancharatna. It’s a hidden gem, with a fair price, friendly staff, clean rooms and a nice atmosphere. There’s even an ELEVATOR, which is rare in Lakeside! We liked it so much that we stayed for 5 nights. Thanks for a wonderful stay! :)

From the rooftop resturant, the lake view is amazing. There’s a pool in the middle and a bar beside it, so you can watch the sunset with a beer or coffee, or play 8 Ball with friends. I didn’t try much of the food, but the chicken I had was stale and smelled bad. Everything else was fine.

The rooftop has a charming view of the Annapurna range, especially the Machhi pichhu peak of the Himalaya behind the hotel, and the famous lake in front. It’s a five-floor building with well furnished rooms and all facilities, facing the Fuwa lake.

The price is reasonable, and you can walk to center point lakeside and pamey. My room faced the lake, though the view wasn’t great because buildings got in the way.
