The quiet setting was a real plus during my four nights in Pokhara. Hotel Peninsula Pokhara is on street 17, just off the lakeside drive road, and it's an easy walk to Lakeside's shops, restaurants, attractions, and the lake. The owner was welcoming and attentive, always checking that I had what I needed or answering questions. There was construction for a new building beside the original, but it didn't bother me. The hotel has no lift, which could be difficult with mobility issues or heavy bags, though staff were willing to carry luggage upstairs. I found it a comfortable place to stay and would recommend it.

You can see part of town from the roof, and the hotel is in a prime location with parking areas. I enjoyed the breakfast and other menu items. The room and bathroom were clean, as was the hotel environment, and the reception and other staff were professional. It was a great pleasure to visit.

The rooms were decent and clean, but the early morning noise was rough. Around 4:30 am, a guest in the next room kept going in and out and talking loudly before heading to see the sunrise. The staff didn't seem very keen to help. On my second night I asked for a bottle of water and was told I'd have to pay. The way they said it came across as quite rude.

For the price, this small boutique hotel offers a lot, and I'd recommend it and stay here again. It's well managed and maintained, with spacious rooms and facilities kept in very good condition. Breakfast had a good variety, including eggs, vegetables, and different kinds of bread. The staff were very nice, helpful, and courteous. A hidden gem in Pokhara.

I spent four days there back in September 2k17, and it was such a peaceful, lovely place. The food was delicious, and the service was awesome. The ladies working at the front desk were kind and helpful. I'd recommend it to visitors looking for somewhere safe and quiet, and I hope I'll be back.
