The lake views from Sadhana are breathtaking, and the whole setting feels so peaceful. I took the silent yoga retreat and had a fantastic experience. Drishan and the rest of the team were warm, welcoming, and supportive from the start. The classes covered yoga, breathwork, and meditation, giving me a rich, well-rounded experience. I got to deepen my practice and learn new techniques here. Highly recommended!

We only spent two days at Sadhana Yoga, but I can wholeheartedly recommend it as a getaway. The view is breathtaking, the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere feels peaceful, calm, and respectful. The schedule kept us occupied without overwhelming us, and I learned many meaningful techniques that have been established for good reason.

I came to Sadhana during a very hard time in my life, and the six-day silent retreat turned out to be the best decision I’ve ever made. I can’t think of better timing. I’ll definitely return once the new location is finished, and I can’t wait to see my Sadhana family again 🤍 The staff were relaxed, understanding, respectful, and full of good energy. They checked that I was comfortable and asked if I needed help. My days included meditation, yoga, pranayama, nasal cleansing, and steam baths. I especially appreciated how they adapted the yoga sessions and chose different kinds of meditation to fit my energy and circumstances. They don’t take an overwhelming number of students at once. For my first three days, I was the only student, so I received extra care and attention. I felt looked after in a way I really needed. Thank you to Shree for the wisdom, empathy, love, and kindness. I won’t forget this experience or the effect you’ve had on my life. I’m grateful to Drishan for the guidance, yoga flows, and walks. D, the cook, made the most amazing vegan food, and I could feel the care and love she put into every meal. I was practicing silence, so I never got to speak with Asanga, but I still felt connected to him and understood. His passion, philosophy, and vision for Sadhana Yoga touched me deeply. I wish him and his family continued success and love. They’ve put so much time, effort, and care into Sadhana and the new branch they’re building. I found it inspiring to hear his hopes for future students and the legacy he wants to leave. He spoke about consciously planted organic vegetables, using the best materials, and a new location being built in the middle of the jungle with every detail thought through. He clearly loves his work. I hope I can find that same love for my own work one day.

After some tough trekking, this was the perfect place to get away. I’d done meditation and yoga before, but here I was really taught what’s at the core of Hatha Yoga. The mix of expertise, friendliness, and joy made it an amazing place to spend time. Special thanks to Shree for patiently putting up with my yoga incapabilities like a true yogi.

The setting by the lake was beautiful, and the food was healthy and delicious. The atmosphere was peaceful, welcoming, and full of positive energy. I spent five days at Sadhana Yoga Retreat before starting the Annapurna Circuit, and it was one of my best decisions. I was new to yoga and wanted to understand its foundations, which is exactly what I found there. The teachers were patient, knowledgeable, and caring. They guided us through the physical practice, meditation, breathwork, and yoga philosophy, explaining everything clearly and kindly. I felt comfortable and inspired to keep learning. I arrived curious and left with a deeper connection to yoga and to myself. I highly recommend Sadhana to beginners and experienced practitioners who want to experience the true essence of yoga in Nepal.
