The location is very convenient, but I won't come back. I stayed two nights after walking in, and there was a lot of noise from nearby hotels and hostels. The ceiling had big water stains, with mold residue in the corners. The owner was unpleasant and wanted more money for the room after learning two of us would be sleeping there. We ended up paying 1500 for the room, which was “1200 for one person.” My biggest issue came after I forgot a piece of clothing that meant a lot to me. There’s no accurate website and the phone number is wrong, so I had no way to contact the owner and ask for it to be sent to me.

We had a great stay, with a lovely garden, comfortable room and bed, hot shower, and delicious breakfast. I did feel uncomfortable when the owner asked us three times to give the hotel only the best rating. When we said we might choose a different one, he told us not to review it at all. That felt unfair because it keeps people from getting a true idea of the place. Still, I would recommend staying here.

I felt like part of the family here. The rooms were very clean, the staff incredibly friendly, and the hospitality so welcoming. Mr. Hom Bahadur Ghale and Mrs. Kabita were wonderful hosts. Their garden grows lots of fresh fruit, and the mangoes are bomb! The rooftop view was amazing, too. We enjoyed the “American” style breakfast and their recommendations. Would go again.
