The fifth-floor room was fairly new, spacious, clean, and had a nice hill view from the balcony. The hotel is in a lane near Phewa Lake, and we stayed there on two separate dates. On our return three days later, we got a smaller room on the fourth floor. The lift only goes up to that floor and kept malfunctioning on both visits. The first time, our luggage took more than two hours to reach the room, and we’d have carried it ourselves if the lift had been working. The place seemed understaffed. On the second stay, reception didn’t respond when we called for help with the TV or a faulty coffee maker socket. We found it average overall, with poor management.

The food has improved, and the dining experience is now more refined and enjoyable. Since the new management took over, the hotel feels refreshed, with better cleanliness, improved service standards, and a more organized approach to guests’ needs. Staff were more attentive, welcoming, and professional from the moment I arrived. Check-in went smoothly and service was prompt. It seems clear that management is making a real effort to improve the hotel, and I’d recommend staying here. Looking forward to visiting again.

Sabina Upreti at reception was so welcoming, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. They greeted us with a smile and took care of everything smoothly, from check-in through check-out. Their kindness and positive attitude made the stay more enjoyable. I really appreciated the hospitality.

I had to make several trips back to the hotel before they finally returned the right amount of cash. They first offered a check, but I wanted cash; when I came back, they gave me about ₹1000 less than I’d paid, claiming I should cover the reservation platform’s commission. It took another 20 minutes of complaints in the lobby to get the correct amount. For a month they dodged my calls and avoided dealing with the refund, costing me extra money. I even had to leave the national park and return to Pokhara to sort it out. After I paid for a room they’d advertised as available, I found out it wasn’t, so I asked for a refund. They kept telling me “five minutes,” then leaving me waiting in the lobby for 30 minutes without progress. I eventually got fed up and left, giving them a few more days to fix it before going back. This place is terribly run. The management is insincere and acts as if you’re the problem. I also met another couple in the lobby who said they’d requested dinner in their room five times without anyone showing up, and complained about the checkout policy. Avoid this trap.

The mountain views made our stay at Kuti Resort & Spa in Pokhara feel special, and Lakeside is only a short distance away. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, service was excellent, and the food was incredibly delicious. Highly recommended for a visit to Pokhara! 🌄✨❤️
