Pumdikot Mountain Lodge

The room was a letdown: it had a lingering fungus smell, and the cleanliness wasn’t good. At least the bathroom was super clean and didn’t have any moisture problems. The view was absolutely excellent, and the staff service was top-notch, so it was a mixed experience because of the room condition.

The open space was great for the kids to jump around, and the food was excellent. The views of the fewa lake and the mountains are unmatched. You can get there by vehicle and then walk 5 min, and enjoy trekking and the scenery. Highly recommended.

The view was splendid, even during wildfire season, and the breakfast was amazing. There were 300 steps up, but the staff helped carry our luggage, and the people here are the kindest. The rooms were small, though the lodge design was nice. We had trouble closing most of the doors, and sadly found a bit of mold in the fridge. You should meet the dog Rocky! 🐕‍🦺🐾 Thanks, staff! 🙏

I could happily stay here for months. The mountain and lake views are majestic, and there’s always something to watch: sunrise on a good day, clouds drifting above the lake when it’s cloudy, or the valley lights at night. The staff are super friendly, the food is good, and the rooms are cozy. I love the upstairs bar, where I worked, though it wasn’t very comfortable. It’d be even better with a cozy spot for Digital Nomads to spend the day working.
