The foggy mornings in Bardia were magical, and our short visit left me wishing we had longer. The jungle safari was a highlight, especially lunch at the machan and the sundowner by the Karnali River. We also appreciated how the kitchen staff adjusted meals to our tastes, and the manager was responsive and found us a good price. Bardia Forest Resort is in a beautiful setting. The property is older but clean and well maintained, and everyone from reception to the driver was friendly and attentive. Jal Bahadur dai guided us through the stay with real knowledge and humility. It was a memorable experience, and we can’t wait to return.

The location near the national park’s main gate is convenient, and there’s lots of green open space around the hotel where you can sit with a drink or read. The rooms were comfortable and spacious enough. I skipped the food because they weren’t willing to accommodate our requests. Prices felt high, and customer service could be much better.

We were lucky to see a tiger, and the jungle safari was unforgettable. The tree house breakfast and a beautiful sundowner made the stay feel extra special. Everyone was warm and welcoming. I’d highly recommend Bardia Forest Resort to anyone wanting time in nature and wildlife.

The rooms were cozy, and both the food and hospitality were good. Had a great time here, would recommend staying and giving it a try. 🙏

The resort is beautiful and the staff are nice, but management should improve service with proper staff training. I’d also suggest serving Nepali dinners and keeping the food authentic instead of offering continental dinners.
